Surry Hills 2

The tightly condensed vertical and horizontal planes of this urban project required a unique and creative approach to the landscaping. Through a combination of ascending steel planters and pocket gardens, the highly-textured architectural facades burst outward with native spillovers and a feature copse of Tree Ferns. The roof garden, whilst small in proportions, gives back to the urban environment with the powerful gesture of a naturalised native park with a feature Bottle Tree and Grass Tree, complementing the project’s charming eccentricity.
